Pape Enterprises, Inc is proud to feature it's PAPE AERO series of Enclosed One Piece Fiberglass Utility Trailers. This beautifully built aerodynamic one piece design
employs special FRP composite material for its superior structural strength throughout, making it stronger than the traditional enclosed trailer. No more routine maintenance to protect your trailer from leaky joints or broken
weld joints. The body has a special designed inside and outside walls construction giving you added insulation properties as well as strength. The body walls have a smooth surface gel
coat finish that requires low maintenance while retaining its prolonged finish. These strong walls act as an I-beam to help support the steel chassis. This prevents having to make an over weight chassis to support the
walls of the trailer. The floor has a fiberglass lay-up on the under side and is attached to the walls making the entire enclosure one piece. We also apply resin coating to the top surface of the floor for added
protection. The body is bonded and bolted to the chassis for long term strength and stability.
The electrical wiring is laid in between the walls for permanent protection. We
use two wires to each light with all soldered connections. No more flimsy crimp connections while using the chassis for your ground wire. If you require a special electrical outlet in the ceiling or walls, we will add
them during construction.
The Aero Trailers are available in a 14 foot and 21 foot enclosed body length. The Aero 14 is featured with either a single or tandem axle while the Aero 21 has
only tandem axles.
The Aero series trailers were developed in the mid 1980's and have been on the highways for over ten years. These trailers are excellent for heavy travel
usage. We use rubber torsion axles which features an independent suspension that outlasts spring supported axles.
